Shelby is an outstanding mathematician who finished 1st year (at SLOHS) and 2nd year (at Cal Poly) Calculus. She consistently ranked among the top students in all of her math classes and participated in numerous math competitions. The characteristic that sets Shelby apart from her peers is her passion for both mathematics and running. In remembering Brian, Shelby has demonstrated that same drive to always do your best, understand as well as possible, and to always share that passion by helping others. Shelby will continue to learn, run, and help others at Wheaton College in Illinois.
